Sharon Leslie Morgan is a writer and genealogist. She is the founder of Our Black Ancestry, a peer research community devoted to African American genealogy. She is a retired multicultural marketing expert who worked for many years as a consultant to Fortune 100 companies. A Chicago native, she has lived abroad in the Caribbean, Europe, and Africa. She is the co-author, with Thomas DeWolf, of GATHER AT THE TABLE: The Healing Journey of a Daughter of Slavery and a Son of the Slave Trade (Beacon Press, 2012).
